The original location in Bethesda, MD was founded in 1976 and hosts all the Recreational Cooking (non-professional) classes. The Gaithersburg, MD location, which opened in 1994 and then expanded in 2004, hosts all the Professional Programs.

By Metro: LAC is located 1 mile from the Shady Grove Road Metro Station (Red line).
Take Bus #43 and get off at the intersection of Shady Grove Road and Gaither Road (look for the 7-Eleven at this stop). Walk one long block to the first STOP sign and turn right on Industrial Drive. Walk into the first driveway on your left, which is our parking lot. Enter the first door on your right.
Take Bus #63 (which does not run regularly between 10am-3pm) and get off in front of the Autobody shop on Gaither Road. Make a right at the STOP sign onto Industrial Drive. Walk into the first driveway on your left, which is our parking lot. Enter the first door on your right.
Please note: Once you arrive at Shady Grove Metro you can expect your wait for the bus and remaining travel time to LAC to take at least 30 minutes. Please plan your trip accordingly.
