Rebekah Jewell joined L’Academie de Cuisine in the summer of 2005. Raised in Mainland China and Taiwan by an accomplished cook, Rebekah brings over 20 years of experience teaching Chinese cooking. She honed her skills in Okinawa in the 1970s and has taught for the Fairfax County Adult Community Education program, the Northern Virginia Community College extension program, Arlington County Adult Education, Fairfax County Adult Education, and Sur La Table Cooking School. Rebekah teaches all styles of Chinese cooking and infuses her lessons with cultural anecdotes, helpful tips, and plenty of humor.
