Dick Rosano has been writing about wine and food for many years. His columns have appeared regularly in The Washington Post, The Wine News, Country Inns Magazine, Chile Pepper, and many other nationally distributed publications. His recent book, "Wine Heritage," traces the influence of Italians in the American wine industry over the last century. Mr. Rosano has lectured on wine at the Smithsonian Institution, Johns Hopkins University, and at many conferences around the country. His travels have taken him to the wine regions of Europe, South America, and the growing regions of the United States. In addition to his popular wine basics classes, Mr. Rosano teaches wine/food pairing classes in L'Academie's professional Culinary Arts Program.
