Barbara Cullen is a graduate of the Culinary Arts Program and worked as a cook and as a pastry chef in several Washington area kitchens before returning to L'Academie as Director of Admissions for the professional programs. She was subsequently promoted to Director of Marketing and continues to promote L'Academies professional programs and rereational classes. She teaches a seasonal menu for vegetarian classes, international dinner menus and lively entertaining classes. Barbara is a member of Women Chefs and Restaurateurs and is an officer in the Washington chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier. She has a B.A. in Education from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
